They handled city permitting, structural engineering, then execution of the work. Work started out with a bit of a surprise as they found a header where I was expecting the door to go. Edgar walked me through what they found and how it would impact my project. All the changes were reasonable and afterwards the work moved forward at a good clip. I would have appreciated more proactive communication on some of the delays, but Edgar was responsive whenever I reached out. Definitely recommend Top Star Egress for any projects given the experience with my project.

It has been a year since we had an egress window put into our basement finished room. We have been very happy with the process and the window. The install was smooth and minimal mess was made, which was a concern since it was being installed into a finished space. His price was fair and what we had expected to pay. He handled the permit for us as well. The two areas we wished were better was communication and the install team. Throughout the process it was always difficult to communicate with Edgar. We were hoping for a dedicated team to do the install process, which was our impression that would happen. Every step a long the way was a new group of workers and Edgar was never on site. Overall, we have been happy with the outcome.
